This beautiful dance from the Dominican Republic has taken the world by storm, evolving on the island, in the US, and across the world. Get in on the fun! We focus on culture, connection, and what you need to enjoy social dancing. We'll learn several basic steps and shapes, grounded movements and body mechanics, and different ways to frame your body to connect with your partner.  You will leave this four week progressive class with the fundamental movements in Traditional/Dominican Bachata. This will help you in your Modern/Urban Bachata and in Sensual as well, depending on where you want to take your dancing. For folks who are brand new, and folks who want to work on their basics. This class teaches different sequences at the beginner level each time. Feel free to repeat!
