Valentine’s Slow Dance Workshop

2/14 THU 5:30-6:30p $14 per person

Really, any day is a good day to dance with your sweetie, but this workshop can help you and your better half kick off your Valentine's celebration with something to remember! Forget about your 8th grade social dance lessons, or the ballroom courses you took that only helped you feel like less of a dancer. This is basic dancing for you and yours - a workshop designed for couples who want to dance TOGETHER, no matter the music. In the class we will break down the simple rhythms of romantic songs (please bring your favorite and we'll use it is in class!), teach you effective lead and follow techniques that will prevent any toes from being squashed or egos bruised, and a few easy moves that you can pull off in any dance situation. Your instructor's specialty is Salsa, so watch out, we'll likely add a little spice to a couple of the moves, including the dip!

Viscount Valentine’s Prom + fundraiser!

2/16 SAT 8:00p-12:00a
$20 suggested donation, all ages

It's Valentine's Day weekend, which is a perfectly excellent excuse to put on some formal wear, grab a friend or your main squeeze, and dance around like a fool to raise some money for a worthy cause. This year, we are raising money for our friends at NPNA - National Partnership for New Americans. We know that the dances we offer here are the result of cultures coming together, and so is this beautiful country. NPNA is a non-profit that works for recent immigrants and their families to enter this country safely and with open arms (to say the least). Please click here to find out more about them:
Our dances reflect who we are, and we are a diverse group! Let's continue to support our newest country-men and women. It's Valentine's Day after all, so let's show some love.

This "Prom" is for friends, lovers, and lovers of freedom! Come stag, come with a sweetie, or come with an entourage! There will be refreshments, Latin and 80s DJs (which means all kinds of music to dance to), a dance lesson, a raffle of excellent prizes, and a photo booth!

All ages, all dance preferences, all night!
